Welcome to Robert's Homepage
I have just finished the Ph.D. program in quantitative psychology at the University of Illinois. I am now an assistant professor at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The primary focus of my research is based on a set of constrained latent class models, called cognitive diagnosis models. Cognitive diagnosis models classify individuals based on mastery or non-mastery of a set of basic skills. Other interests include multivariate statistics, hierarchical linear models, structural equation models, and mathematical statistics.
While I was born in Decatur, IL, I spent most of my life growing up in Mt. Vernon Illinois. For those of you who are not familiar with Mt. Vernon Illinois it is located in the center of Southern Illinois. I have heard it referred to as the King City of Southern Illinois, which is probably due to its prime location on Both I-64 and I-57.
