Call for Participation - General Information

We are pleased to announce the 2007 Region 7 Conference of the North American Saxophone Alliance to be held on the campus of the University of North Carolina Greensboro School of Music in Greensboro, North Carolina, in conjunction with the Carolina Saxophone Symposium. Included will be performances, lecture-recitals, master classes, and other presentations that relate to saxophone performance, pedagogy, research, or other areas of concern to saxophonists. All individuals interested in the saxophone are welcome!

Region 7 of NASA includes Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C. Applications will be accepted from NASA members outside of Region 7, however, Region 7 members will be given priority in programming.

Friday evening, March 30
will feature a grand chamber music concert given by the Red Clay Saxophone Quartet, the New Century Saxophone Quartet, Clifford Leaman, and Taimur Sullivan, followed by a jazz concert with Matt Olson, Wil Campbell, Stephen Riley and Chad Eby.
