Dr. Schilling’s interests are in teaching in diverse settings and the development and evaluation of values-based physical activity programs for underserved youth. Her most recent work has included an examination of underserved youths’ commitment within the context of a specific program called Project Effort. Her work has appeared or has been accepted for publication in Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport, Urban Review, Journal of Applied Sport Psychology, Community Youth Development Journal, and Journal of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
