On Friday, June 30, 2023, Information Technology Services (ITS) will migrate secondary email, calendaring accounts, and collaborative inboxes from Google to Outlook shared mailboxes. This move occurs simultaneously with the student move which marks the end of the Gmail to Outlook migrations.

There will be messages dating back to at least December 1, 2022, in the new shared mailboxes. Over the two weeks after migration, the rest of the messages will continue to arrive until all of them are copied to the Outlook account. Please wait two weeks before deleting messages in Outlook.

If you have a secondary account, and you have not done so already, please complete the survey regarding secondary account ownership by Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

All collaborative inboxes will be migrated and do not need verification.

The ability for shared mailbox owners to assign access to others in Outlook will be available by the end of the day on Tuesday, June 27 so that access rights can be pre-populated. See how at Assign Access to a Shared Mailbox.
