The M.S. in Information Technology and Management (MSITM) program combines technological and managerial components to train graduates who can deal effectively with the variety and complexity of issues involved in applying information technology successfully within organizations. The MSITM program seeks to extend both the knowledge of students and their ability to effectively utilize their knowledge in a collaborative work environment.

  • The MS in IT & Management is designated as a STEM program which allows eligible international graduates to apply for a 24-month OPT extension.

The Student Experience

  • Students in the MSITM program have the option to specialize in one of three concentrations in Business Analytics, Cyber Security, Enterprise Resource Planning, or Supply Chain Management. 
  • Depending on the business and information technology background the student possesses, the length of the program will vary. A student can complete the program in 18 to 24 months, depending on the individual student’s background and course load.
  • We also offer graduate certificates in IT Development, IT Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning, completing any of which will warrant a GRE/GMAT waiver for entry into the MS program.

After Graduation

  • Course projects often lead to internships and career paths for students.
  • Graduates know how to apply cutting edge technology in analysis and decision making, and possess the most recent and relevant IT skills to start or enrich their careers.
  • Graduates of our MS in IT and Management program work in positions such as: security analyst, data analyst, chief information security officer, systems engineer, software developer, data scientist, information business analyst, and supply chain analyst.
  • Employers of program graduates include HanesBrands Inc., Apex Analytics, Amazon, Syngenta, Cone Health, VF Corp, Zenergy, Unifi, and MetLife.
