Local Technical User Groups
The Triad has several users groups for computing and IT professionals. These groups provide a great way for working professionals to keep up-to-date on emerging technologies, and the users groups also provide great opportunities for networking with other area professionals. While oriented toward working professionals, UNCG students could also get a lot of value from participating in these users groups. I would suggest that students contact groups by email first in order to make sure that the group is suitable and would welcome students, but most will welcome you with open arms!
