The Master of Education in Teacher Education with a Concentration in Learning Sciences program helps students develop mastery in general focal areas that will strengthen work in the field of education, including: Understanding and enacting powerful teaching and learning; empowering motivated learning; and harnessing educational research for theory, practice, or policy.
The UNC Greensboro School of Education was named one of the 2022 “Top Graduate Schools of Education” by the U.S. News & World Report.
Courses include topics such as Introduction to the Learning Sciences, Diverse Learners, and Teachers as Researchers and Learners.
Graduates of the program are well prepared for successful careers as teachers, curriculum facilitators, educational researchers, or educational policy analysts.
