April 5, 2009 - UNCG has a long history of outstanding achievements in the behavioral sciences. As early as 1960 with the creation of the PhD program in human development and family studies, quickly followed by the creation of the PhD program in psychology in 1970, UNCG's behavioral scientists have made impressive contributions to improving health across the age span.
