        March 2023 Cameron's chaired symposium was accepted for the 2023 Society for Affective Science Conference in Long Beach, CA.



        August 2022 Some good news at a busy time of the semester! Congrats to Faith whose first-authored paper, Understanding Internalizing and Externalizing Symptoms in Trauma-exposed Community Members, was just accepted for publication at the journal Psychological Trauma: Theory, Research, Practice, and Policy. Faith found that self-blame plays an important role in both internalizing and externalizing symptoms comorbid with PTSD. Congrats also to Casey May and Rachel Suresky who co-authored this paper. Great work all!

        September 2020 Casey’s Master's Thesis, "Reward Processing and Decision-Making in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder", was recently accepted by the journal Behavior Therapy. Congrats, Casey!



        September 2020 Cameron, Faith, Natalie and Blair had a co-authored paper accepted for publication at Journal of Traumatic Stress. Congratulations, everyone!



        August 2020 Faith was featured as the Student of the Month in the Student Section of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies Newsletter! [PDF]


        August 2020 Dr. Wisco was promoted to associate professor with tenure!

        May 2020 Allie Campbell successfully defended her dissertation! Congrats Allie!



        April 2020 Aanchal presented a poster, namely “Evaluating a New Measure of Anhedonic Depression: Daily Experiences of Wanting and Liking (DEWL)” at UNCG Undergraduate Research Expo with Rachel, a fellow CoPE lab member. Great job!



        February 2020 Allie Campbell matched at the Salisbury VA for clinical internship.

        October 2018 Faith Nomamiukor collaborated on an article titled "Examining Associations Between Sleep Disturbance and Distress Tolerance in Trauma-exposed Psychiatric Inpatients" that was accepted by the journal General Hospital Psychiatry. Congratulations!

        October 2017 Allie Campbell collaborated on an article titled "Association Between Perceptions of Military Service and Mental Health Problems in a Nationally Representative Sample of U.S. Military Veterans" that was accepted by the Journal of Psychological Trauma: Theory, Research, Practice, and Policy. Congrats!
