Matthew Barr (Media Studies) recently gave a presentation at Georgetown University’s Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor, entitled “Constructing a New Social Compact: A Public Forum on Empowering the Post-Pandemic Working Class.” Barr also screen his documentary, “Union Time,” which previously received the Best Documentary Feature Award at the Workers Unite Film Festival. The conference is one of the nation’s top gatherings concerning labor and human rights.
