Bio & Education
Dr. Ross is the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the School of Health & Human Sciences and Professor of Kinesiology. He teaches students in the Athletic Training Program. Dr. Ross directs the Balance Analysis and Training (BAT) Lab, primarily studying patients with ankle instability by assessing balance impairments and then correcting issues through rehabilitation with or without complimentary interventions (stochastic resonance stimulation, video games). Dr. Ross is part of the Applied Neuromechanics Research Laboratory Group, which is examining the association between laboratory assessments and collegiate injuries. Lastly, Dr. Ross is a member of a research team examining concussions in the military and women participating in collision sports.
