Verónica Grossi specializes in Latin American Literature and the Arts from a Transatlantic perspective. She has published academic articles on Early Modern Spanish/Spanish American poetry , Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, and contemporary Latin American Poetry. She is also a poet, an essayist and a visual artist.

She is the editor of Escrito en México (1974-1984) by Enrique Fierro. México: Fondo de Cultura Económica, 1999 and the author of Sigilosos v(u)elos epistemológicos en Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. Madrid, España-Frankfurt, Alemania: Iberoamericana-Vervuert Verlag.
