Biography

Abigail Harris is the Box Office Manager for the College of Visual and Performing Arts at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Abigail has worked as the Box Office Manager at UNCG for 5 years. 

Abigail is a graduate of UNCG where she majored in Arts Administration and minored in Technical Theater and Entrepreneurship. Some shows she’s helped bring to life at UNCG are Heathers, Pinky and Blue, and Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse. She’s constantly amazed by the talent UNCG students express onstage whether it be theater, music, or dance. Outside of UNCG, Abi enjoys hiking, cooking, and catching concerts from her favorite artists.  

Areas of Responsibility

• Training and supervising student box office staff members in the Schools of Music, Theatre, Dance and the UNCG Auditorium 
• Providing excellent customer service to facilitate ticket sales both in person and over the phone 
• Creating and monitoring events in the Etix ticketing system  
• Making daily deposits of box office credit card, cash and check sales 
• Providing accurate patron data and sales reports for performances and events 
• Reconciling ticket sales processed through the Etix ticketing system
