Biography

Mengtian Li joined Bryan School of Business & Economics in Fall 2024 as an assistant professor in the department of accounting and finance. Mengtian earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from Temple University’s Fox School of Business in 2020 and worked at Brock University (Canada) between 2020 and 2024. Her research interests include auditing, corporate governance, financial accounting, and corporate public disclosures. She has a recent publication in Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory. Mengtian is currently teaching introductory managerial accounting in Fall 2024 and will teach Auditing Concepts in Spring 2025.
