Research

Zach’s research generally centers on theories of rationality and reasons, focusing specifically on the nature of structural rationality and what kinds of reasons we might have to act according to its requirements.

He also works in the philosophy of modality, specifically on theories of impossible worlds. His most recent work in this area attempts to answer the question “What makes a world impossible?”
