Program Distinctions

  • The MS in Accounting program has a strong reputation for its internship program and job placement as well as an excellent record of preparing students to pass the CPA examination.
  • The M.S. in Accounting is one of the longest running and most successful programs in graduate-level accounting education in North Carolina
  • Both the bachelor’s and master’s-level accounting programs have separate accreditation – only 1% of business schools worldwide share the Bryan School’s dual AACSB accreditation in business and accounting.
  • We also offer a professional entry option for students holding previous non-accounting degrees and who now have an interest in preparing for careers in public accounting, consulting, and corporate accounting. This option is also ideal for students who have an undergraduate degree in accounting from outside of the United States.

The Student Experience

  • The program has a flexible structure designed to be full-time for the intensive student or part-time for the working professional. Most full-time students can complete the program in 12 to 18 months, and most part-time students can complete the program in 24 to 36 months.
  • Earning your degree online allows you the flexibility to learn on your own schedule, with no set class times and no commute necessary.
  • Our online students benefit from our dedicated Online Writing Center and Online Speaking Center, and all of the same library, technology, and career resources available to on-campus students.
  • Hands-on opportunities such as the internship program provide the opportunity to receive academic credit as well as possibilities for full-time offers prior to graduation.

After Graduation

  • Employers actively recruit Bryan School accounting students regardless of their backgrounds, and diverse classrooms will enhance your preparation for a career in today’s dynamic global environment.
