Accounting, M.S.

The MS Program in Accounting prepares students for a career in public accounting, industry, government, or for nonprofit management. Available concentrations include taxation, financial reporting, and assurance. This major is offered on campus or 100% online for maximum flexibility.

• The MS in Accounting program has a strong reputation for its internship program and job placement as well as an excellent record of preparing students to pass the CPA examination. 
• The M.S. in Accounting is one of the longest running and most successful programs in graduate-level accounting education in North Carolina
• Both the bachelor’s and master’s-level accounting programs have separate accreditation – only 1% of business schools worldwide share the Bryan School’s dual AACSB accreditation in business and accounting.
• We also offer a professional entry option for students holding previous non-accounting degrees and who now have an interest in preparing for careers in public accounting, consulting, and corporate accounting. This option is also ideal for students who have an undergraduate degree in accounting from outside of the United States.

The Student Experience

• The program has a flexible structure designed to be full-time for the intensive student or part-time for the working professional. Most full-time students can complete the program in 12 to 18 months, and most part-time students can complete the program in 24 to 36 months.

• Our online students benefit from our dedicated Online Writing Center and Online Speaking Center, and all of the same library, technology, and career resources available to on-campus students.
