Green’s lifelong passion for music has taken her around the world, but her contributions to the arts can be felt every day in North Carolina, making her a worthy recipient of this honor from UNCG.
Kat Reyes was the first to roll out the welcome mat for many students new to UNCG. From leading orientation sessions and accepting the Homecoming crown, to dancing with her professors for social media, the first-generation grad is grateful for all the ways she left her mark.
The virtual series, beginning Jan. 14, will connect you with faculty and alumni subject-matter experts on a variety of topics. The next semester will feature deans Carl Mattacola at HHS; Joy Bhadury at Bryan School; bruce mcclung at CVPA; and Kelly Joyce at CAS.
UNCG collected more than 1,200 pounds of non-perishable food and hygienic items for Spartan Open Pantry so that students would not feel like they have to choose between putting food on the table and focusing on their end-of-semester studies. Today is also the last day to donate gifts through the Spartan Season of Giving.
