Nominate ‘Spartans Season of Giving’ Recipients

The Staff Senate Spartan Season of Giving Committee wishes to go into the holidays helping UNCG community members. Last year, nearly 50 people received gifts thanks to the campus initiative. Nominations for this year can be submitted through Nov. 4.

Blueprint for Enduring Success

Undergraduates strive to become bold, career-ready leaders. They’re now better assured of it thanks to new funding from alumnus Marcus T. Johnson ’99, whose name will soon grace UNCG’s Alumni House. He is leveraging a Student Professional Development Fund to invest in the Bryan School of Business and Economics’ Blueprint series and is expanding opportunities for students in additional ways.

UNCG Honors Alumni Making an Impact

The annual Alumni Awards Ceremony will be held during the Homecoming festivities at EUC Auditorium Friday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. Alumni Bobbi Osguthorpe, Marion Prescott Wray, James Barnhill, and Lasse Palomaki will be honored this year. These awards recognize devotion, leadership, service, exceptional contributions, and noteworthy career accomplishments.
