The Collegiate Advertising Awards (CAA) awarded UNC Greensboro a Silver Award for website design regarding the Next Generation Website. CAA is an elite national program recognizing higher education organizations for excellence in communications, marketing, advertising, and promotions of their schools.

“This recognition is a testament to the hard work of many faculty and staff members,” UNCG Chief Information Officer Donna Heath said. “From across campus, colleagues came together and worked diligently to develop a modern website and design system, and this award confirms a job well done.”

The 2022 CAA program received entries from the United States and Canada representing small community colleges to very large schools and universities.

Submissions were reviewed and evaluated by a national panel of industry experts, with a possibility of 100 total points. UNC Greensboro’s entries competed against similarly-sized organizations in their specific groups and categories.

Awards were issued for entries that received high marks placing them in the top 16 percent of the nation for advertising excellence. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal.

Representing all areas of communications, media, marketing, advertising, and promotions, the competitive 2022 Collegiate Advertising Awards program contained world-class advertising projects. The Collegiate Advertising Awards is pleased to recognize the outstanding creative achievements of UNCG.

All winners are posted on the Collegiate Advertising Awards website.
