Doctor of Nursing Practice

The UNC Greensboro offers a graduate program leading to a Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree. There are three options for a DNP degree: the Nurse Anesthesia Concentration, Post-Master’s Concentration, and the Adult-Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Concentration (AGPCNP). The Nurse Anesthesia Concentration prepares students to deliver high-quality safe anesthesia care to patients across the lifespan in a wide variety of clinical settings. The Post-Master’s Concentration gives students the opportunity to address quality improvement and evaluate strategies to improve efficiencies and outcomes. The AGPCNP Concentrations prepares graduates to provide quality primary care and advanced clinical skills to optimize health outcomes for adults from adolescence to end of life.
