Biography

Marketa Rickley is an Assistant Professor of Management at UNC Greensboro. Her research explores the antecedents and consequences of leadership selection and dismissal, incorporating artificial intelligence and machine learning to leadership prediction and international human resource management. Professor Rickley’s research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Management and Global Strategy Journal. Her work has been recognized with several honors from the Academy of Management, such as the International Management Division Best Paper Award. Professor Rickley teaches Strategic Management in the MBA program and Introduction to Generative AI in the undergraduate program. She is a recipient of the UNC Greensboro Bryan School of Business and Economics Teaching Excellence Award.
