Biography
Vashkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Florida. His research interests are in operations and supply chain management, operations-information systems interface and sustainable operations. His research has been published in leading journals such as Production and Operations Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, Supply Chain Management Review. Vashkar teaches quantitative methods, project management, operations and supply chain courses in the bachelors, masters and MBA programs.
