Abdulkareem Omer attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Philosophy and Political Science. He later attended the University of Maine School of Law to obtain his Juris Doctor, J.D., where he was also involved in the Universities Refugee and Human Rights Clinic. Abdul was admitted to the New York State Bar in January of 2024, and is a currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Greensboro Bar Association. Abdul works as the staff attorney for the Immigration Services department at CNNC and he joined CNNC in 2023.
