BIO

Audrey began working in online learning in the private sector in the year 2000. After taking a few years off to live abroad in Europe and Asia and homeschool her young children, she was called to work in public higher education. Starting graduate school as a single, working mom, she developed a passion for flexible, accessible, and inclusive course design and teaching practices. Now holding an M.S. in Instructional Technology, a Master of Library and Information Science, and a certificate in Online Learning and Administration, she enjoys working with instructors to enhance student learning through the application of these practices via the instructional tools available at UNCG. Previously, she worked as an Instructional Designer at Winston-Salem State University and Guilford Technical Community College, where she also spent a year as their Accessibility Specialist. Her proudest accomplishment is teaching her oldest son, Colin, to read.
