Research
My research interest include understanding the neural mechanisms underlying breathing control, specifically looking at ion channels and neuron populations and their role in the respiratory function. Moreover, my research also seeks to investigate how early-life events, such as gene deletion and use of drugs during pregnancy, affect the respiratory function at the brain and lung levels.
