Bio & Education
Dr. Chantelle S. Caro is an Assistant Professor in the Gerontology Program at UNCG. She holds a Ph.D. in Aging Studies from the University of South Florida. Dr. Caro is committed to helping students understand the interdisciplinary nature of the field of gerontology, and utilize the skills gained following a gerontological framework when working with older adults in academia or industry. Her research interests center around quality of life among older adults. She values working collaboratively, with specific interests in gerontological education, diversity, sexual activity, and end-of-life.
