BIO
Chris Dunst is the Director of Instructional Design, Multimedia, and Design (IMD)—a team dedicated to supporting the instructional needs of UNCG faculty. A former Associate Producer with the CBS News broadcast 48 Hours Investigates, Chris earned a Master of Education in 2005. In that same year, he received the Guilford County Rookie Teacher of the Year award for his innovative instructional strategies.
At UNCG, Chris helped to develop more than 300 online courses for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. He led a team in the development of support resources including Ready to Teach, Ready to Learn, Accessibility 101, Proctoring at UNCG, Keep Teaching, Keeping Learning, Online Student Orientation, and, at the system level Online Learning 101. Additionally, Chris has worked with committees to update and create policies and guidelines related to online learning.
Today, Chris leads an incredibly talented team who support faculty development and promote student-centered learning—juxtaposing the latest web technologies with pedagogical best practices.
