Biography
David received his MFA from the Alabama Shakespeare Festival/University of Alabama Professional Actor Training Program and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (Film/Theatre) from Appalachian State University.
As a professional actor, David has appeared frequently on Broadway, Off-Broadway, at leading regional theatres across the country, and extensively in film and television. He has received Tony, Drama Desk, Ovation, and Henry Award nominations for his stage work, as well as the 2012 St. Clair Bayfield Award for Shakespearean Acting in the New York Metropolitan Area for his performances in Shakespeare in the Park.
Most recently, he earned a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination as part of the cast of HBO’s The Gilded Age.
David is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity Association.
