Eloise Hassell
Biography
Eloise McCain Hassell (Attorney) has served as an Assistant District Attorney, Assistant Public Defender, and an Adjunct Professor at Elon Law.
Eloise received the 2016 UNCG Award for Teaching Excellence, 2003 UNCG Alumni Teaching Excellence Award, 2006 UNCG Bullard Award for Service, five UNCG Bryan School Teaching Excellence Awards, and the 1999 UNCG Greek Leadership Educator Award. Her pro bono service has been recognized both by the Herb Falk Society and NC Pro Bono Honor Society, and her Exemplary Community Service with the GSO Bar Centennial award.
An Eloise McCain Hassell UNCG Teaching Excellence Award was created by a UNCG Alumnus, and she was awarded a Sue W. Cole Bryan School 2023 Professional Track Distinguished Faculty Endowed Professorship.
