– Formal analysis of the language of film with a focus on independent, art house, international cinema, “classic” movies, and documentaries
– Lecture & facilitate discussions that link form to meaning and cultural significance

Get to Know Us

In addition to teaching film appreciation at UNCG and my love for the cinematic art form, my interests include contemporary art, new media art, electronic music, and graphic design. I am passionate both about teaching AND learning from my students, and introducing them to the nuance, beauty, and depth of the cinematic art form.
