Bio & Education

Dr. Daniels holds a B.S. degree in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech as well as an MS degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, both from Penn State.

Prior to arriving at UNCG in 2015, he served for 31 years as an active duty U.S. Army officer. He taught for 15 years in the Department of Physical Education at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he spent the last 11 years as department chair, leading a robust program that taught and administered all physical education instruction and fitness testing for the United States Corps of Cadets.
