Biography
Hugh Condrey Bryant was born in Franklin, VA. He received two BFAs from UNC Greensboro in 2012, one in art and the other in theatre. In 2013 he attended an internship at Franconia Sculpture Park in Shafer, MN. Following the internship, he was hired on as the park manager for Franconia Sculpture Park where he worked for two years. From 2015 to 2018 he attended the University of Maryland at College Park where he received his MFA in sculpture. For a brief period after grad school, he served as the sculpture park manager for Salem Art Works in Salem, NY, before returning to Greensboro to teach at UNCG in 2019. His current practice focuses on pottery and sculptural hand-built ceramic works.
