Brief Bio

I am a developmental scientist interested in the socioemotional and cognitive functioning of children and their caregivers. I investigate how, for whom, and on what timescales caregivers’ emotions and cognitions affect their behaviors (e.g., emotion socialization). I also study how adversity and caregiving shape children’s emotion regulation, executive function, and risk for psychopathology.
