Martha is originally from Mexico where she studied and received her undergraduate degree in Art History. Her passion for humanitarian work led her to volunteering with different organizations in Mexico. When she moved to the US she continued her passion for helping people working with the society of Saint Vincent de Paul in Atlanta Ga. as a case manager and an interpreter. She started her work with Strong Minds in 2019 and continues to work there as a CHW. Having love for the arts and the community she has had the honor to serve on many different boards in Greensboro including The Greensboro Children’s Museum, Greenhill, Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, Sunrise-Amanecer, Weatherspoon’s Museum and most recently UNCG Foundation. Martha and her family enjoy the outdoors with sunny days as much as a rainy day with good reads.
