Matthew Loyd

Bio

Matt Loyd is a Senior Instructional Designer who has partnered with UNCG faculty to develop over 50 courses since 2010. He especially enjoys discussions that get to the heart of how instructors want their students to learn and grow, and working together to design creative assessments that let students show what they can do.

Matt found his love of working across disciplines at Carleton College and focused on Sociology with an M.A. from UNC-Chapel Hill. He has advanced training in statistics and survey research and has taught courses on gender, research methods, and the life course. He is certified in Instructional Design and Project Management.
