Dr. Nakia Davis, a native of Washington, NC., has been a proactive, experienced Registered Nurse for 14 years. She earned her master’s degree in Nurse Executive Leadership in 2020 from South College and her Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg in 2022. Dr. Davis has worked in many facets of nursing. She is currently a Patient Service Manager II at UNC Hospice and an adjunct instructor in the Human Health Sciences Program at UNCG.
Dr. Davis strives to develop innovative strategies that promote high-quality education in a student-centered, active learning environment. She incorporates her administrative, academic, and clinical experience to enhance students’ understanding of self to advance their critical thinking and to heighten their innovative capacity.
Dr. Davis dedicates time to serve her professional and personal community as an active member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., her church community, various organization, and a mentor. She received the Faculty of the Year Award for ECPI Greensboro in 2020.
