Originally from Burundi, a small Country in East Africa, Natacha came to the US with her family: 2 boys (3 now) and her husband, in 2008 as refugees. She was resettled by African Services Coalition.
Since her young age, she had a passion of helping people in need and later on went to Law School and got a Law Degree so that she could provide free services to undeserved population, especially women. After arriving in the US, she quickly realized that the African community that speaks her languages could use her help with interpretation. She started volunteering her time helping new refugees with interpretation and transportation services. She fell in love with the work and wanted to make it her career. She then started the process of getting her degree evaluated and applied to Wake Forest University for a Master’s Degree in Law. After graduation, she went to Washington for a fall internship with UNHCR, and came back to Greensboro and began a job at World Relief, a resettlement agency in High Point. She joined CNNC in June 2017 and coordinates programs at Legacy Crossing and Glen Haven.
