Nathaly, a native of North Carolina, was born and raised by Mexican immigrant parents, an upbringing that instilled their deep passion for working with immigrants and refugees. Her journey into this field began during their undergraduate years when they interned at CNNC in the Thriving at Three program. After graduating from UNCG in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in social work and minors in psychology and human development & family studies, Nathaly obtained a master’s degree in social work from UNC Chapel Hill in 2023.

Nathaly returned to CNNC in 2024, this time as the Thriving at Three Assistant Program Coordinator. In this role, she conducts Ages and Stages Questionnaires for the children in the program, assists in group facilitation, case management, and supervision to interns. Through their work and personal interests, Nathaly exemplifies dedication, compassion, and a strong sense of community.

Outside of CNNC, Nathaly enjoys baking, and spending time with her pets.
