Biography
Dr. Nicholas Lewis serves as the Admissions and Graduate Student Services Specialist within the UNCG School of Music. He earned a Doctor of Musical Arts and a Master of Music in trombone as well as a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Instrumental Conducting from UNCG. Lewis earned his BA from Coastal Carolina University. Lewis has performed with leading ensembles across North Carolina, including the Greensboro Symphony, Winston-Salem Symphony, North Carolina Brass Band, and Piedmont Wind Symphony among others. He has served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Wake Forest University and held multiple roles at UNCG as a graduate assistant and now as a staff member. Beyond performance and teaching, Lewis is active in university service. He currently serves as a Staff Senator at UNCG and has led logistics for the UNCG Summer Music Camp, supporting over 1,500 campers annually.
