Responsibilities

Nick Young is the Director of Enterprise Application Software & Administration at UNC Greensboro. In this role, he is responsible for leading teams that manage the Ellucian & Banner ecosystems, Database Administration, and the ServiceNow Platform. These teams handle administration, development, process improvement and end-user support for these critical systems, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and strategic goals.

Originally from Australia, Nick has worked in higher education for more than 25 years, with previous experience at a small private liberal arts college and NC State University before joining UNCG in 2013. Throughout his career, he has focused on enterprise applications and platforms, with particular expertise in SaaS and cloud services.
