Responsibilities

The University’s Associate Vice Chancellor/Chief Human Resource Officer (AVC/CHRO) is responsible for comprehensive and strategic leadership of all aspects of the human resources function for the campus, including: employment recruiting and staffing (with the exception of faculty recruitment and retention); compensation and position classification; training and professional development; effective employee relations and employment practices; performance management; and benefits management and HR information systems.
