Get to Know US

I was born in Thailand but grew up in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro area.  As a child I’ve always been interested in cultures and people.  This led me to gratitude towards community activities.  The Immigrant and Refugee experience I’ve witnessed inspired me to join the ACCESS Project.  This volunteer opportunity will bring me closer to my goals.  After completing my service, my goal is to continue my involvement in the Immigrant and Refugee community.  I would also like to go to graduate school because I really enjoy learning.

During my free time, I like to cook different dishes and write about random things.  But what I love the most is going to my grandma’s house and seeing all my cousins. One fun fact about me is I love to dye my hair; one time it turned green.
