Bio & Education

Dr. Schmitz’s roles include teaching contributions to the undergraduate kinesiology major, the entry-level master’s program in Athletic Training, and the graduate Applied Neuromechanics program. He is the co-director of the Applied Neuromechanics Research Lab where his research is largely centered around risk factors of ACL Injury and resultant early-onset osteoarthritis.
