Bio and Education 

Regina Alexander (she/her) is a graduate of Greensboro College (BA Psychology, 2002) and the Joint Master of Social Work program at UNCG & NCA&T (2007). She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2009, and She holds certifications in TF-CBT, personally disorder treatment, and DBT. 

Since finishing her educational journey, she has spent 18 years serving the Greensboro community’s mental health needs in multiple ways. Regina has been a therapist in community agencies, inpatient behavioral health settings, group and private practice, and medical settings. In addition, she has served as a trainer, a mental/behavioral health spokesperson, and a columnist for a local parenting publication. Her clinical specialties are gender identity, sexual orientation, religious trauma, and personality disorders. Regina has been an adjunct professor in both the Sociology and Psychology departments at Greensboro College, and currently teaches theory and clincally-focuesd courses at UNCG & NC A&T. She also carries a small caseload of clients at Family Service of the Piedmont, offers clinical supervision to individuals holding the LCSW-A licensure, and continues to volunteer and engage with community partners on various projects and programs.
