Sena Crutchley

Bio & Education

Sena Crutchley, a graduate of UNCG’s undergraduate and Master’s level programs in Speech-Language Pathology, is a speech-language pathologist (SLP) and AP Associate Professor in the UNCG Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Her experience as an SLP is diverse and includes serving children and adult populations in a variety of settings.

Ms. Crutchley has presented at the state and/or national levels about clinical supervision, documentation in skilled nursing facilities, telepractice, bilingual speech-language pathology, and transgender voice and communication.

Her most recent experience was as an SLP and Interim Director of Rehabilitation in a skilled nursing facility.

Ms. Crutchley’s professional interests emphasize:

• aphasia, dysarthria,
• clinical supervision,
• accent modification,
• and dysphagia.

In addition, her background in musical theatre supports a keen interest in voice. When Ms. Crutchley is not working as an SLP, she enjoys painting portraits of rescued animals, enjoying the outdoors with her family, and traveling.
