Responsibilities

The Director for Strategic Operations oversees departmental budgets, personnel, and operational functions of the unit. The Director strategically reviews and revises policies as needed, and develops policies and procedures that affect business operations and programs. In addition, the Director partners with Purchasing and other units in a variety of RFP creation and resulting awards. The Director serves on the EPART committee and is the Departmental Technology Specialist.

The Director uses technology to create systems to improve unit efficiencies.

The Director is a member of the unit’s leadership team alongside the Associate Vice Chancellor, Integrated Marketing Communications, and the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Communications.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Operations Management from UNC Greensboro
• Master of Science in Information Technology Management from UNC Greensboro
