Global Symposium 2025

The Global Symposium is a new event organized by the Global Engagement Office in collaboration with faculty and staff partners from across campus. This is an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to connect with a community of like-minded global citizens, to share your global work, and to be recognized for your contributions to creating high impact global learning opportunities for everyone at UNCG.

Come ready to discuss your latest projects, new strategies, and best practices in global engagement. Showcase your global work and learn new ideas to enhance your professional practice as we celebrate and advance our shared commitment to global engagement.

Theme: spartan global learning excellence

We invite you to gather your ideas and co-presenters and submit proposals for sessions that highlight your Global Learning Success Stories and Lessons Learned!
Have you led a student group abroad?
Do you support international students?
Have you participated in a global service project?
Did you internationalize a course or conduct international research?
Have you developed a program or initiative that provides global learning to students globally or locally?
Are you a student or staff member that has had a transformative global experience?
We particularly encourage proposals that focus on working collaboratively across institutions and sectors; present solutions developed by educators in partnership with external stakeholders; and offer models for campus engagement and global student learning in challenging times.
