The North Carolina Varsity Esports and STEM League (VESL) in partnership with UNC Greensboro’s Scholastic Esports Alliance (UNCG SEA) will host the VESL State Finals Championship on February 17 and 18 in Greensboro, NC at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex and at UNCG.

Tickets are free with a reservation via Eventbrite.

Competing in Valorant, Overwatch 2, Fortnite, Rocket League, Madden 24, and Super Smash Brothers, 150 North Carolina high school students across 60 competitive teams from 36 high schools will participate. Players have the opportunity to win as much as $2,400. The tournament’s total prize pool is $70,000.

Players will compete at the Novant Health Fieldhouse on 1921 West Gate City Boulevard and at the UNCG Esports Arena in Moran Commons, 1209 North Drive.
