Summer Arts and Design Intensive

The School of Art at UNCG is excited to announce the 11th year of the Summer Arts and Design Intensive program. This summer, we will be offering a one-week-long residential art program that will accept up to 100 young artists. The studio program will cover various art forms including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, graphic design, and animation. The student artists will be mentored by the artist-faculty of the School of Art. Furthermore, the SADI staff will include experienced art educators, professional artists, and UNCG’s art education preservice teachers, all of whom will collaborate to provide top-notch guidance to each student and help them embark on a distinctive creative journey. As a longstanding tradition, SADI concludes with a student art exhibition at the Gatewood Gallery in the School of Art building.
