Technovation for Good

June 22 @ 8:00 am July 2 @ 5:00 pm

Technovation for Good, made possible by Alex Lee, Inc. is a day and residential program for rising high school sophomores – seniors. The program will be administered by the Information Systems and Supply Chain Management department in the Bryan School of Business and Economics at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. It will provide the participants with hands-on, practical experience with Programming, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Mobile Application Development, Sustainability, Analytics and/or the Internet of Things. In addition, this program offers students an opportunity to learn entrepreneurial and leadership skill sets, hear from local professionals, meet other students with similar career interests, and attend workshops to enhance IT and business skills in a college setting.

The goal of this program is to provide an environment that promotes inclusiveness and educational equity. We encourage applications from diverse groups of students who will have equity in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education and opportunities. Thanks to our sponsor, need-based scholarships will be provided to ensure that students with financial need can participate in the program.

The dates for Technovation for Good are June 22 – July 2.
